Origin

Beginnings:

Established in 1996, Origin was named to reflect the fact that its artistic inspirations are a representation of all the places and cultures in which its jewelry designs have their roots, or origin. These distinctive wearable art pieces are created through the unique collaboration of the local and European designers and artists, who fashion beautiful jewelry out of nature’s bounty. Located in the magical paradise of the 7,107 tropical islands of the Philippine Archipelago, these artists create jewelry inspired by the natural materials found there.  

Origin is committed to ensuring that its collections are ethically designed and crafted. All employees receive a fair living wage with benefits. Origin is also proud to support local charities, including an organization in Manila that assists survivors of human trafficking and those at risk of exploitation.

Materials In The Jewelry:

All Origin jewelry is hypoallergenic and nickel and lead free. It is made from resin and shell, or resin and silver leaf with tiger tail wire neck wires (Stainless Steel with a thin plastic veneer). The metal used on the resin jewelry is aluminum and all ear wires are surgical steel.
